Johnny “J. Bear” Savo began learning the auction trade when he was knee-high to his father. He earned a degree in theater and public speaking from Keystone College before getting his PA auction license in 2000. He has sold a wide variety of estate merchandise, but has a particular passion for vintage toys, ephemera,  and firearms.  The J. Bear combines his satirical nature, warped sense of humor, and life-long experience in the auction business in order to author this site’s unique blog.  You can connect with him directly on Facebook.

Carlo W. Savo, The American Painter, also began learning the auction trade at a very young age. An accomplished and talented artist and auctioneer, Carlo sometimes trades in his paint brush and gavel for the weapons of fencing and medieval combat. He, too, has sold many types of estate goods, but shows a certain affinity and knowledge in art, glass, pottery, and coins.
